Obituary for Wayne Ireland
Wayne Ireland, 74, of De Soto, KS passed away April 15, 2014. Funeral services will be held on April 22nd at 11:00am at De Soto Baptist Church in De Soto, KS. Visitation will be April 21st from 6-8pm at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel in De Soto. Graveside De Soto Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to De Soto VFW, PO Box 54, De Soto, KS 66018. Wayne was born November 26, 1939 in Lawrence, KS. He graduated from De Soto High School in 1959 and married Marjorie Rose on August 31, 1960. He retired from Shawnee Mission School Dist. as a Utility Supervisor. He enjoyed his old cars, watching his grandkids grow and watching their activities. Survivors include: wife Marge of the home, sons Rick Ireland and Kristi Seiler of Olathe, KS and Doug and Beth Ireland of De Soto, KS, grandchildren Amanda, Scott, Jared (Kara and Kelsi Seiler) and great grandchildren Trey and Elizabeth.
