Obituary for Minerva S. Cox
Minerva S Cox of Kansas City, KS age 70 passed on peacefully Feb. 24, 2014. Memorial will be March 11, 2014 at 6pm at Cedar Crest Chapel 32665 Lexington Ave. De Soto, KS. She was born in Kansas City, KS to Sherman and Anna Leah Samuels on July 13, 1943. Minerva was a talented porcelain painter, a sassy, fun loving, woman with a wicked wit. She had flocks of friends and compadres from her many adventures and trips gathered during her eclectic life. She was much loved by, and she loved, humans and animals alike. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother Robert Samuels, and infant Sister. Survivors left to mourn her are her Daughter Connie Atkins, Son James Baumann, grandson Dustin (Ashley) Covington, all of MO, Brother Richard Samuels, Olathe, KS, and loving extended family.
