Dianne Crumbaker, 73 of De Soto, KS passed away in the early hours on March 15, 2022 at her home with her family around her.
Services will be held April 23, at 2:00 PM at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel. Friends and family from 1:00-
2:00 PM
Carolyn Dianne Crumbaker was born Nov. 28, 1948 in Kansas City MO to Roy and Caroline Paydon.
Dianne graduated from Atchison High School in Atchison KS, she went on to attend college at Park College and later Kansas City Community College. Dianne earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from UMKC in 1981. In 1986 she graduated from UMKC with a Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance.
On Dec13, 1968 Dianne married her first husband Terry Shinn and had son Conan (Pat).
On November 11, 1983 Mark and Dianne were married in a small service at Unity on the Plaza in Kansas City MO. Together Dianne and Mark loved to travel visiting numerous national parks, canoeing the boundary waters with Conan. Visiting England and quickly getting out of London to travel the countryside and making new friends at the local B&B's and pubs. A trip to Scotland to find the town from where Dianne's grandfather immigrated from and a special trip to Ecuador with their daughter-in-law and new granddaughter. Weekend jaunts to local places were not uncommon.
Preceded in death by: Parents and Husband Terry Shinn
Survivors: Her husband Mark of the home, Son Conan (Sara) Shinn and Granddaughter Lucia all of Hutchinson.
