Obituary for Beverly Jo Englehart (Davis)
Beverly Jo Englehart (Davis), 60, of De Soto, KS passed peacefully on October 24th 2020 in Wichita, KS after a courageous battle against cancer. Her Celebration of Life will be held on November 14th at 1:30 P.M. at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto, KS.

Bev was born on November 19th 1959 in Lawrence, KS to Helen and Joseph Davis. She grew up in De Soto, KS with her sister Chrissy and her two brothers Lawrence and Steve. While growing up, Bev enjoyed dance and gymnastics. Bev graduated from De Soto High School in 1977. Bev was homecoming queen her senior year and she excelled in track and cheerleading. In 1979 she was married to Ben C. Landes and they had three children, Danny, Anna Belle, and Joey. She spent the last 19 years living in Fort Scott, KS in the country with her beloved dogs and working for Peerless Productions. Bev was always happiest at her family farm in Lebanon, MO spending time floating the river, fishing and skipping rocks with her family and friends close by.

Preceded in death by: father Joseph Davis, mother Helen Davis and brother Steve Davis.

Survivors include: brother Lawrence Davis and sister Chrissy Behee (Davis) of De Soto, KS; children Danny Landes, Anna Belle Landes and Joseph Landes of Wichita, KS; grandchildren Tayden Pham and Alexa Graves of Wichita, KS; nieces Jennifer, Katie, Stacy, Wendy and nephew Clinton
