Obituary for Susan L (Teel) Warren
Susan L. (Teel) Warren passed away January 14, 2016 in a tragic accident. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00AM at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto, KS. Visitation will be on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 6-8:00PM at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 3846 W 75 St., Prairie Village, KS 66208 or charity of choice. Susan was born on February 17, 1961. She was a lifelong resident of De Soto, KS and graduated from De Soto High School in 1979. Susan and her husband, Gino, had just recently moved to Hillsdale, KS. She worked at Menorah Medical Center as a Patient Information Coordinator for of 19 years. Susan also had 20 years of EMT experience. She is the daughter of the late Aaron Teel of Pattonburg, MO and Georgene Paxton of De Soto, KS. She is preceded in death by: father Aaron Teel; mother Georgene Paxton and step father Leonard Paxton and maternal grandparents George and Elfreda Payton. She leaves to mourn her passing: husband of 26 years Gino Warren of the home; their fur babies Corkey and Abby; sister Ann Pennington of De Soto, KS; brothers Dale (Deta) Pennington of Pleasanton, KS, Shawn (Michelle) Teel of Cameron, MO and Randy Teel of Coffee, MO; nieces Jennifer (Jeff) Pennington of Olathe, KS, Katie (Luis) Davis of De Soto, KS and Amelia Raynor Teel of Cameron, MO; nephews Eric Teel with the Army National Guard of Gallatin, MO, Clinton (Kelsey) Davis of Olathe, KS and Sterling and Alec Pennington of Pleasanton, KS; great niece Liliana and great nephew Diego of De Soto, KS; a little niece and nephew who will not get to know Aunt Susie and she was so excited and looking forward to their births; father and mother-in-law Charlie and Eva Warren of Spring Hill, KS; step mother Mertal Teel of Cameron, MO; sister-in-law Sherry (Kirt) Bestwick; grandma Amy Cockrell of Spring Hill, KS and aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, coworkers and a special coworker Robbie. "God is in every tomorrow, Therefore I live for today, Certain of finding at sunrise, Guidance and strength for the way; Power for each moment of weakness, Hope for each moment of pain, Comfort for every sorrow, Sunshine and joy after rain."
