Obituary for Sue Ann Frickey
Sue Ann Frickey, 82, passed peacefully on February 5, 2022. Private services De Soto Cemetery, De Soto, KS.
Sue Ann was born on June 30, 1939, at home in Deepwater, Missouri, the daughter of Archie L. Bedford Sr., and Roxie Eulah (Thompson) Bedford.
Sue Ann moved with her family to DeSoto, Kansas and graduated from DeSoto High School in 1957. Shortly after high school, she began working at the Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant and finished her working career by retiring from the Water Department for the City of Olathe.
Sue Ann was an accomplished cook and loved being in the kitchen. She maintained a collection of recipes that dated back to her mother’s mother and there was nothing she could not cook or bake. Sue Ann was a trusted and loyal friend, a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Sue Ann was exceedingly kind and considerate and never had anything bad to say about anyone.
Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Maxine, Billy, Bonnie, Archie and Avis.
She is survived by sons Timothy and Bruce (Lori)r sister Judy and brother Kenny, grandchildren Erin and Keri (Raul) and great grandchildren Emma, Noah and Logan.
