Stuart L. Taylor, 59, of De Soto, KS passed away on March 5, 2019 at his home. Private graveside services, De Soto Cemetery, De Soto, KS.
Stuart was born December 31, 1959 in Lawrence, KS to Robert and Georgianna (Winslow) Taylor. Stuart went to De Soto High School and then started driving trucks over the road and then driving local.
He married Linda J. Lackner on October 14, 1989. He was a loving father. Stuart was quite the handyman, enjoying working on small motors and cars. He enjoyed a beer and the sound of a motor running. Watch out for that pinochle game! He enjoyed his family and all holiday get togethers. Stuart enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping with the family. Stuart also made several train excursions in the past several years with his brother John, traveling to California, New Mexico and the Southwest territories. He had a wonderful and much traveled life. He will be missed dearly by all!
Preceded in death by parents Robert and Georgianna Taylor.
Survivors include: wife Linda of Overland Park, KS; stepson Kevin Lackner and daughter Jennifer Taylor of Shawnee, KS; brother John D. Taylor of Kansas City, KS; sisters Lelani L. Taylor of De Soto, KS, Sarita G. Taylor of Wellsville, KS and Alexanna McCracken of De Soto, KS; grandchildren Alyssa, Nathan, William, Jack , Maddox and Abel; nieces and nephews Tom, Andy, Johanna, Erin, Amber, Michaela, John, Giannalee, Olivia and Joseph
