Sherry Lee Thompson, 70, of Paola, KS passed April 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held April 21, 2015 at 1:00pm at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto, KS with visitation on April 20, 2015 from 6-8:00 PM at the Chapel. Interment De Soto Cemetery, De Soto KS. Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel PO Box 101, De Soto, KS 66018. Sherry was born May 26, 1944 in Lawrence, KS. She was a member of Let There Be Light Church in Osawatomie, KS. She had many life experiences from being an ordained minister, playing the piano and taking in people who needed help, she knew no strangers. Sherry had a love for animals of all kinds. She enjoyed her quilting and crafts. She will be missed by all that knew her and all the lives she has touched. She is preceded in death by: brother Danny Hall. Survivors include: husband Bobby Thompson of the home; daughter Robin and Marco Rodriguez of Kansas City, MO; sons Monty and Betty Greer of Pomona, KS, Ahron and Karri Greer of St. Louis, MO, and Todd and Jennifer West of Paola, KS; daughter Marissa Munoz of Emporia, KS; son Nickolas Munoz of San Diego, CA, USMC; mother Betty and Joe Kessler of De Soto, KS; siblings Debbie Skeen, David Hall, Bill Hall, Brenda Hall, George Hall, Jimmy Hall and Lucy Hall; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
