Obituary for Sharon A. Plum
Sharon A. Plum, 70, of De Soto, Kansas passed away on May 13, 2017 after a battle with breast cancer. The memorial service is Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel in De Soto, Kansas at 2:00 pm with visitation starting at 1:00 pm.
Sharon was born April 20, 1947 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Henry and Mildred (Dobbs) Ehart. She graduated from Jarbalo High School in 1965. Sharon married Loren Cain on July 9, 1966.
They divorced in 1970. She married Craig Plum on April 21, 1971 and they raised their children in De Soto. She enjoyed watching the children in sports, concerts and taking cruises. She worked at Sunflower Ammunition Plant and ran a daycare. They owned Plum’s Produce and she worked at Donegan Optical until retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandma. She will be missed by all.
She is preceded in death by: her parents and husband Craig Plum. Sharon is survived by: children Kris Peterson of De Soto, Scott Plum of Shell Rock, Iowa and Jon Plum of De Soto; six grandchildren Ty Peterson, Taylor Peterson, Austin Plum, Cameron McCollum, Anna Plum and Jonny Plum; brothers Michael Ehart (Marcia) of Prim, Arkansas and Henry John Ehart III (Melissa) of Florissant, Colorado.
