Ronald (Ronnie) D. Weese, 80, of Richmond, Kansas (formerly of De Soto, KS) passed away January 9, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Cremation with services at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Richmond Fire Dept., P.O. Box 216, Richmond, KS, 66080.
Ronnie was born January 27, 1936 in Kinsley, Kansas to Daniel & Bessie (Carothers) Weese. He graduated from De Soto High School in 1954 and served 4 years in the United States Coast Guard. Ronnie married Judy Gardner on December 6, 1959 in De Soto, KS and they raised their children there. He worked at Jay Wolfe, Van Chevrolet and Dennis Chevrolet for many years. They owned De Soto Motel and built tresses. Ronnie worked at Home Depot until retirement. There was nothing he could not achieve. He was a loving husband, dad and grandpa and will be missed by all.
He is preceded in death by: his parents and brothers Wayne and Galen. Ronnie is survived by: his wife Judy, of the home; children Rhonda Garrett of Olathe, Kansas, Dana (Drew) Grayson of Lenexa, Kansas and Steve (Tracy) Weese of Richmond, Kansas; three grandsons; three great grandchildren; brother Don Weese of Gardner, Kansas and one Aunt Fern Rich of Roanoke, Virginia
