Obituary for Michael D. Allen
Michael D. Allen, 63, of De Soto, KS passed away on August 7, 2019. A memorial service will be held on September 7, 2019 from 3-5:00PM at De Soto V.F.W Post 6654, 33725 W. 84th St., De Soto, KS.
Mike was born on November 13, 1955 in Denver, CO to Donnie and Wanda Sue (Ellis) Allen. He went to De Soto High School. Mike was a stone mason all of his life. Mike enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of The KC Chiefs, The KC Royals and The KU Jayhawks. He enjoyed life and will be missed by all.
Preceded in death by father Donnie Allen.
Survivors include: mother Sue Allen of De Soto, KS; son Michael (Catrina) Allen of Kansas City, KS; daughters Casey (Chris) Lamb of Independence, MO and Chelsey (Kim) Allen of Independence, MO; two grandsons Nathan and Lincoln; sisters Susan (Heidi) Allen of Lawrence, KS and Kim (Scott) Proch of Evergreen, CO; two nieces and two nephews; the mother of his children Shirley Peterson
