Mary Lou Wilkins- Smethers, 87, of Olathe, died at home on Sunday February 23, 2025.
Mary was born in Byran County, Oklahoma and lived most of her adult life in Olathe.
She loved her gardening and her flowers.
Mary was predeceased by her parents Woodrow W. and Margie (Lawrence) Weaver, 1 brother, 1 sister, and sons Jackie and Mike.
Mary is survived by sons Robert Wilkins and David (Pam) Wilkins daughter Mary (Tim) Kieffaber and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held for both Mary and Jackie Wilkins
Visitation will be held on Friday 02/28/2025 at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel 32665 Lexington Ave De Soto Kansas, from 1-2 pm with service immediately following
Jackie Ray Wilkins, 56 of Lawrence, died at Hillside Village Nursing Home of De Soto on Friday January 18, 2013. Jackie was born in Bokochito, Oklahoma. Jackie enlisted in the United States Military, Department of the Army after his high school graduation. After his discharge from the Army, he went on to work various jobs in Lawrence Kansas.
Jackie was predeceased by his father and his wife
Jackie is survived by 3 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces and nephews.
