Juanita Kay McDaniel was born on November 29, 1940 in De Soto, KS to Hugh and Mildred (Kluss) Johnston. Kay married Ronald McDaniel on October 2, 1959. She worked for Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant until her retirement. They raised 2 sons and enjoyed all the things life had to bring. Kay loved to watch the KU Jayhawks.
She is survived by: husband Ronald, of the home; sons Monte C. (Karen) McDaniel and Martin A. McDaniel, both of De Soto; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
