Joann Oliver Salter, 78, of Lenexa, KS passed away March 27, 2017 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on March 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation
1 hour prior at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto, KS. Burial at 12:30PM in Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS.

Joann was born July 12, 1938 in Shreveport, LA to John and Elva Oliver.

She is preceded in death by: husband Ted Salter, parents John and Elva Oliver and son Gary Lynn Salter.

Survivors include: daughter Renee and Jeff Weaver, of Lenexa, KS; brothers Gordon Oliver of CO and James Oliver of LA; grandchildren Chad (Kris) Weaver of Liberty, MO, Gary (Hayley) Salter Jr. and Shanna Salter both of Bedford, TX; 6 great grandchildren Hadleigh, Brecken, Brooklyn, Lillia, Londyn and Alayah; brother-in-laws Richard Salter and Jimmy Salter both of AR
