Jesse was born January 5, 1927 in Humphreys, CO to William and Rosie Blaine. He married Helen M. Smith on October 14, 1947 in Kansas City, MO. They moved to De Soto in 1952 where they raised their sons. Jesse worked for General Motors for 31 years until retirement. They retired to Teller, Colorado. Jesse was an avid fisherman and enjoyed life. He was baptized at Swope Park Baptist Church. He also attended different Southern Baptist Churches throughout his life. He trusted in the Lord and was a devout follower of Jesus Christ.
Preceded in death by 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
Survivors include: wife Helen of the home; sons Eric (Rebecca) Nielsen of Lawrence, KS, Randall Blaine of Shawnee, KS and Mark (Lisa) Blaine of Scottsdale, AZ; 4 grandchildren Katie, Paul, Matthew and Rachel and 6 great grandchildren
