Obituary for Jean M. Brooks
Jeanne Marie Brooks, 78, passed away peacefully March 19, 2024, surrounded by loving family. Funeral services will be held March 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Elm Grove Baptist Church, 15774 Linwood Rd., Bonner Springs, KS. Followed by graveside at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Jeanne was born July 20, 1945 in Hampton, IA to Paul and Ruth Sheehan. Jeanne grew up in Clarion, Iowa with 7 brothers and sisters and raised her family in Rowan, Iowa. Jeanne loved to meet new people to whom she would ask the same questions: Are you married? Do you have any children? and do you know Jesus? She loved working with special needs children, sewing, crocheting and making clothes for her grandkids. Jeanne was loved by many and will be sorely missed. She loved Jesus and her Ronnie and is now with them both.
She follows her husband Ronnie Joe Brooks and she leaves behind 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
