Ernest A. Pritchard, 86 of De Soto KS, passed away Oct 14, 2014. Memorial service will be held Oct.29 at 7:00 PM and friends may call from 6-7:00 at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel 32665 Lexington Ave De Soto, KS. Ernie was born Dec. 1, 1927 in Linwood KS. He went to school in Linwood. Ernie was a WWII veteran and was a hand operator. He retired from General Motors and Aldeck. He is preceded in death by parents Jess and Myrtle Pritchard, first wife Dottie, daughter Cindy, sister Norma Kurt, step son Craig Plum and step daughter Donna Wheeler. Survivors include: wife Ruby (Walker) of the home; children Connie Barnett and Danny Prichard both of WA; sister Beverly Parr of Wellsville KS; step children Bill Plum, Joy Swisher, Terry Plum, Candy Sipe and Nancy Warsop.
