Obituary for Elverda "Bobbie" Mae Robinson
Elverda “Bobbie” Mae Robinson, 76, of De Soto, KS, passed away March 14, 2016 at Pinnacle Ridge Nursing Home in Olathe, KS. Funeral services will be held Friday March 25, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto, KS. Friends may call from 10-11:00AM on Friday at the Chapel.
Bobbie was born September 12, 1939 in Wichita, KS to Lloyd and Bula Rhoads. She raised her boys in De Soto. She was very evolved with the boys activities, she was a Scout leader for the boys and a Girl Scout leader for the girls she never had. She worked for Stokleys Canning Co. and retired from Farmland Industry's. She was a waitress and babysitter for many years to take up the gap while the kids were young. She loved camping with the kids. Bobbie was a real hoot, she enjoyed life and had a big personality, that was her. She also loved her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband Dick (George) Robinson; son Guy Robinson; grandson Bobby Beatty and 2 brothers. Survivors include: son Ty Robinson of Oklahoma; granddaughter Brandy Danner of Grandview, MO; grandsons Allen Robinson of Iredell, TX, Guy Robinson II of Ottawa, KS and Jason Robinson of Joplin, MO; daughter-in-law Pam Robinson of Olathe, KS; brother-in-laws Calvin (Leona) Robinson of De Soto, KS and Phillip (Dixie) Robinson of Olathe, KS; 6 great grandchildren and was soon to be great great grandma in April.
