Obituary for Dale McGhee
Earl Dale McGhee son of Hollie and Leo McGhee passed away peacefully Wednesday August 3,2022. Dale was Born May 18,1935 in Kanarado, Ks. Shortly thereafter they moved to Kansas City, Mo. where he spent his younger years. After Graduation Dale enlisted in the Marines where he did tour of duty in the Korean war. After returning home he married his wife Barbara and started his family.



Dale worked at Fleming Foods for several years and was a proud union man. He then became president of teamsters local 955 and served 9 years before retiring. During his career as a teamster, he established and maintained numerous lifelong friendships. He was a man’s man and loved to golf and hang with his buddies but is greatest joy in life was his children and grandchildren. He was involved in everything they had going on and made sure they all knew what was important which was all of them. It was said and will always be said that Dale was not just a dad and a grandpa he was so much more. He was a best friend.





Dale was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, his daughter Debbie, parents Hollie and Leo and his sister Dolcie. He is also survived by his Daughter Lori (Bruce) son Ricky (Karen) 6 grandchildren,5 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love.





Celebration of life will be held Sunday August 14th at Dales Home from 1:00 to 5:00
