Obituary for David J. Hoschouer
David J. Hoschouer, 59, of De Soto KS passed away January 29, 2022, after a long battle with Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer).
Visitation will be held at 2:00 pm February 5, 2022, followed by Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel 32665 Lexington Ave DeSoto, KS. Gravesite service held on February 11, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Monticello Union Cemetery in Shawnee Kansas.
David James Hoschouer was born April 21, 1962, in Topeka Kansas to Roy & Margaret (Becker) Hoschouer.
David graduated from Olathe High school in 1980. He married Deborah K Wells on June 10, 1995. He was employed at Honeywell FM&T for 20 years, and WD Machinery prior to that. David was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and shooting guns. He also enjoyed hot rods, car shows, and rebuilding classic cars. He always said: "Whoever dies with the most toys wins." He was the handyman of all handymen, there was nothing that he could not fix. He also enjoyed reading and coin collecting but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Predeceased in death by: Parents, Roy & Margaret, and sister, Susie Burden. Survivors: Wife, Deborah of the home. Daughters, Kristina Hoschouer of De Soto, KS. Kara (Travis) Reno of Warrensburg, MO. Stepson, Tyler Miller of Bonner Springs, KS. Brothers, Dan (Kerri) Hoschouer of De Soto, KS. Gary (Lisa) Hoschouer of Olathe, KS. Sisters, Karen Scharff of Moran, KS and Karla Hoschouer of Olathe, KS. Grandchildren, Torrie, Rhett and Kodie Reno.
