Obituary for Charles (Chuck) Berry
Charles (Chuck) Berry, 66, of De Soto, KS passed away at home on June 18, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 25, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel, 32665 Lexington Ave., De Soto, KS. A private graveside at De Soto Cemetery.
Chuck was born on August 19, 1952 in Greenville, IA. He married Cheryl (Price) Marshall in 1980. They recently celebrated their 39th anniversary. He was a member of Union Local #1290 and worked for 30 years in construction. He enjoyed the farm and gardening. Chuck had a zest for life and loved his family very much.
Preceded in death by: his father and an infant daughter Sheila.
Survivors include: wife Cheryl of the home; mother Edith Martin; daughter Rachelle Woods; stepson Tony Marshall; granddaughter Nicole Marshall; grandsons Cole and Jace; brother Ken (Terri) Berry; sister Ruth Roe; lifelong friend Betty Varnell; beloved dog Runtzy; numerous nieces and nephews.
