Obituary for Brian L. Blaylock
Brian L. Blaylock 71 of Eudora, KS passed unexpectedly Dec. 17, 2025 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Private graveside services will be held at De Soto Cemetery, De Soto, KS.
Brian was born June 29, 1954 in De Soto KS to Wilbert Howard and Anna Nadine (Hiddleston) Blaylock. He graduated from De Soto High School in 1972, he worked for the De Soto school district for many years and for the City of De Soto Water Plant. Brian was always the soft spoken and kind a heart. Simply put he was “Just a good guy.” He married Joyce “Joy” Baugh and together they lived in Eudora, for over 20 years.
Preceded in death by Parents Howard and Nadine Blaylock, Brother Bruce sisters Claudia Freyker and Linda Blaylock.
Survivors: Wife Joy of the home, 5 stepchildren and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. 2 nephews Chuck and Gary Freyler
