Obituary for "Bob" Leggette Bob Price
“Bob” Leggette Bob Price, 86, died Friday, October 27th 2017 with his loved ones near his side.
He leaves behind his two sons, David Price and Nicholas Price; his daughter Betty Price; siblings Dott Stephens, Charles (Tib) Price and Inez Ferrel; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Bob was born May 7th 1931 in Sulpher City, AR and spent most of his childhood in De Soto and Olathe, KS.

He served in the United States ARMY on active duty from 1952-1954. Bob then served on the Aircraft Fire and Rescue Team at McConnell Air Force Base until 1959. In 1960 he relocated to MSP Airport Fire and Rescue Team. When Minneapolis Airport Commission took over the fire fighting duties in 1961 he made the transition to be a Federal Meat Inspector. He retired in 1986 after 25 years of service in his position. He was an active member with the Shriners from 1960-1968.

After getting married and having 3 children, Bob purchased his family farm in Cannon Falls, MN in the spring of 1968. He raised Charolias beef cattle from 1962 until his death. He has passed this tradition on to his son Nick. Over the years he enjoyed watching his grandkids grow up around the farm and loved seeing his great-grandchildren any chance he could. He spent many winters in Mc Allen, TX to escape the harsh Minnesota winters.

A funeral service will be held November 25th in De Soto, KS with private burial.
