Benet was born September 9, 1949 in Seymour, IN. He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He was a father of 3 children and a loving grandfather. Survivors include: wife Dawn of the home, Benjamin (Angelina) Vinson of Piper, KS, Chaissie (Bryan) Schindler of KCMO, Anna (Mario) Lopez Hutchison of Bonner Springs, KS, mother Mamie Cross of Ashland, OH, brothers Bobby Vinson of IN and Billy Vinson of Ashland, OH, and 8 grandchildren: Mauriawna, Braydon, Xavyer, Liliana, Aliya, Abby, Andraya and Tytus
