Obituary for Alven Haulmark
Alven Haulmark of Baldwin City, Kansas passed away Saturday September 7th 2019 at home.
Alven graduated in 1993 from Baldwin High School. During his high school years Alven loved participating in football, basketball and track getting the nickname “Sweet Feet Haulmark” for his running. Alven held a school record in track for many years.
Following high school Alven joined the United States Army and served until June 2007. Alven served 3 tours of duty to Iraq and Afghanistan. Alven received many awards of commendation and medals.
Alven was born October 2, 1974 in Kansas City, Kansas to Gary and Sherree Haulmark and is preceded in death by his grandparents AC and Mary Haulmark, grandfather Lawrence Shaw and father Gary Haulmark and step dad John Stanley. Survivors of the home include mother Sherree Stanley, sister Katie Haulmark and grandmother Delores Shaw, nieces Ashtin Renne Omaha, NE, Caitlyn Renne Fairborn, OH and Megan Renne, United Kingdom.
Graveside services will be held Saturday September 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at the DeSoto Cemetery, 34500 W 87th Street in DeSoto, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for contribution to be made to Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) 3033 Wilson Blvd ,Suite 300, Arlington, VA 22201 in memory of Alven Haulmark. TAPS serve those who suffer from PTSD and their families.
