Obituary for Ada Nadine Garrett
Ada Nadine "Hale" Garrett, 93, of Mission, KS, passed away January 18, 2015 at Shawnee Gardens, in Shawnee, KS. Nadine was born June 28, 1921 to Juanita Richardson and Joseph George Payne in Kansas City, KS. Both deceased. She married Ralph A. Hale on August 11, 1945 until illness caused his death in 1969. In August of 2009 Nadine was united in marriage to S. Dwayne Garrett, a classmate form Argentine High School where they both graduated. Nadine had a career spanning over 40 years as Transportation Clerk with Santa Fe Railroad, retiring in Mission, KS. She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband Dwayne Garrett; two step-daughters Dee and Dianne Garrett; one step-son David Garrett; her cousins Marla and John Heinen; a niece Faith Allen and family and so many wonderful friends. Nadine was very active in her community and will be missed by many. Memorials may be made to Countryside Christian Church, 6101 Nall Ave., Mission, KS 66202. There will be no services " May God Be With Her"
